„The Lizard”

En Llagardaix Venido

This is a watercolor illustrated tale on 14 double pages. It was written in Hungarian and translated to Catalan with the precious help of Carme Maciá.
This tale takes you to a little Catalan fishing village at the end of the eighteen hundreds. It is about the odyssey of a 6 years old average child called „Lizard”, who takes part in some extraordinary adventures after a huge fish swallows the golden watch which he borrowed from his father.
The tale depicts an era of Catalonia and was written in memory of all the people who left the country and travelled to Cuba.
